Another portrait, trying to just learn value for this. Still failed to capture the likeness.

Tried not to copy exactly the photo but feels like it fail. Also tried some different color combination for the background.
Patterns on jeans just need to be the right color and its of to not really define them.

Learning how to paint waves. The color changes in wave is rich and depends on the different sky color and depth of the sea. Splashes can be done with brush settings scatters but still need quite some amount to control to give it the wave effect.

A quick study of a portrait. Was trying a new brush technique. still needs more refinements.

Another watercolor painting i did for school. We went painting in the street. This was painted at Chinatown (Smith street)

To be honest, i was quite pleased with how this one turned out after the terrible failures before.

Painting in the street is adventurous. Lots of unexpected happenings. (it rained heavily suddenly in a hot sunny day!) But i guess its only not so awkward if we were painting in groups.

**I tried my best to salvage this piece. haha. believe me, it was much more scary than this before.**
